Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Pyxis Maritime Pte Ltd, a startup company aiming to own and sell electric propulsion vessels, in response to the growing environmental awareness surrounding the shipping industry, will jointly research, develop, and construct EV ships with the aim of commercializing EV ships within the Singapore area, and introduce EV ships in Japan.
